A piece of approximately 15 cm x 2 cm (the size of the area to be cut may vary according to the area of the area to be transplanted) is cut and surgically removed from the numbed donor area. The piece of skin taken from the donor area is carefully prepared for hair transplantation and the hair follicles are extracted. The grafts separated from the skin piece are neatly placed in containers called petri dishes. The donor area from which the graft is removed is closed and wrapped with an aesthetic suture. After a healing process that will take approximately 20 days to 1 month, a horizontal suture scar will remain in the nape area (donor area) between the two ears. One of the disadvantages of the FUT technique is that there is a permanent suture scar in the donor area after the operation. After the grafts are extracted, the hair transplantation process is started. At this stage, local anesthesia is applied to the area to be planted. After the area to be transplanted becomes numb, the number of grafts removed by the surgeon is opened and the extracted grafts are placed inside the channels. Dressing is done on the 1st day after the operation. The bandage is removed on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day, the hair is washed and the dressing is started. These processes are continued for 10 days. Stitches are removed on the 15th day and all procedures and methods are the same after that.
FUE
FUE (follicular unit extraction) is widely used in the world and is more preferred than fut method. In the Fue method, no incisions are made on the scalp, so the application does not leave a permanent mark.
In hair transplantation using the FUE method, the treatment gives results in an average of 1 to 1.5 years. The most positive aspect of this treatment is that there are no cuts or stitches in the area where the hair is taken. There is very little pain after this surgery and the recovery time is very quick. As the diameter of the lumen needles used in hair transplantation decreases, the recovery time and quality of hair transplantation increase. We use 0.5-0.6-0.65-0.7-0.75-0.8mm tips in our clinic.
